Manager, Asset Integrity, O&M, Regional

In this role within the O&M and Asset Management department, you will provide support to Vena Energy Offshore Wind projects pipeline in the APAC region with a homebase in Japan.
The Manager, Asset Integrity, will be part of the operational asset management team and contribute to supporting the entire process of managing risks related to offshore wind project development with the perspective of implementing the asset management system similar or compliant with ISO55000 framework based on ISO31000.
Risk management being at the core of what we do, the Manager, Asset Integrity, O&M, will support the different tasks related to identifying and managing risks that impact safety, security, asset integrity, reputation, or financial success in relation to the O&M Asset Management.
You will interact and interface with peers from any other Vena Energy corporate functions such as permitting and consenting, engineering and technical support departments, and will be engaging with external stakeholders such as national grid operator, external consultants or similar.
You will overall use project management and leadership skills to establish and maintain the agreed level of effectiveness of our projects.
You will seek to seize the opportunity to further develop his/her technical, commercial, financial, project management and leadership skills working with an established, experienced team.
The Manager, Asset Integrity, O&M, will report to Group Head, O&M and Asset Management, as direct line manager.

WTG Engineer

1. Lead Turbine Selection and Suitability Assessments;
Drive the evaluation and selection of wind turbines by assessing their suitability for specific projects, taking into account site conditions, design evolution, and technical certifications.
Ensure turbines meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, coordinating certification activities with third parties.

2. Turbine Design Review;
Lead the review of turbine designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
Provide technical feedback on design improvements, component durability, and innovation, collaborating with OEMs and internal engineering teams.

3. Certification and Regulatory Compliance;
Oversee turbine certification processes, including the coordination of technical documentation, testing, and compliance activities with certification bodies.
Ensure all turbine-related activities adhere to local and international standards, including grid code compliance and environmental regulations.

4. OEM Relationship and Contract Management
Manage discussions with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and lead procurement processes, including Early Works Agreements, Turbine Supply Agreements (TSA), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts.
Ensure that contracts include appropriate performance guarantees, warranties, and long-term service agreements to optimize project outcomes.

5. Technical Due Diligence and Advisory
Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence for new projects, advising development and engineering teams on wind resource assessment, energy yield estimation, and technology selection.
Identify potential risks related to turbine performance and propose mitigation strategies during the development phase.

6. Evaluation of New Turbine Technologies
Continuously assess and recommend new turbine technologies and innovations, considering lifecycle management, operational performance, and long-term maintainability.
Liaise with third-party providers to ensure cutting-edge solutions are implemented.

7. Logistics and Installation Oversight
Develop logistics solutions for the transportation, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine generators (WTGs), considering both commercial and technical requirements.
Ensure that logistics planning aligns with project timelines and budget constraints.

General Manager, EPC Procurement

【POSITION SUMMARY】
The position will be responsible for leading the entire procurement activities for Vena Japan and will be the external as well as internal interface for all the related activities for both wind, solar and storage projects, managing the relationship with the Suppliers, negotiate commercial terms, finalize and close contracts. Among other procurement activities, the position shall also be responsible for management of contracts including contractual obligations, managing contractual claims, vendors development and management of ongoing contracts, statutory compliance and support BD/EPC team on costing/scheduling.

【Key Responsibility】
■Establishes a professional working relationship with various vendors, focusing mainly on large scale wind, storage and solar projects, maintain a data base for future business prospects. To manage vendors (existing & new) at all levels and develop relationships with commercial and non-commercial accounts that enable achievement of plans and objectives
- Vendors engagement to have business continuity and achieve the costing within the budgets, with the required technical and safety considerations

■Lead and own the ongoing contracts for projects under execution, as well as close the contracts for new opportunities starting from initiation

■Responsible for entire procurement cycle starting from
Vendor identification, soliciting the proposal & presentation, techno-commercial negotiations, closing/finalization of orders and contract management.

Onshore Wind Procurement, Manager

【Position Summary】
Procurement Manager oversees the efficient sourcing and acquisition of wind turbine components, civil engineering and construction, electrical engineering and transportation/installation, and all related services. Responsibilities include supplier collaboration, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy optimization. This role requires strong negotiation skills, supply chain expertise, and a focus on cost-effectiveness while ensuring quality standards are met. The Procurement Manager plays a crucial role in driving efficiency and continuous improvement within the procurement process.
Reporting to the General Manager of EPC Onshore Wind, the position will be based in Tokyo, Japan and involve travelling to onshore wind power plants across the region. Furthermore, this role needs to be accountable for exploring the new area under General Manager.

【Key Responsibilities】
■Assist project-specific selection and approval of wind turbines following consideration of design
evolution, site conditions, certification, logistics, performance, maintainability and reliability.

■Support turbine, installation and transportation due diligence for new projects and collaborate with development and technical service teams in relation to wind resource assessment, energy yield estimation, grid code
compliance and environmental impacts.

■Manage the development projects getting support from EPC Wind and Technical Service team.

■Negotiate on terms and conditions sheet basis in line with early works with OEMs.

■Manage TSA and LTSA negotiation on both technical and commercial in collaboration with the technical service, commercial, legal team, logistics and Project Manager(s).

■Send RFQ, obtain quotations by due date, negotiate the price keeping the technical requirement.

■Support Project financing (construction finance) in terms of technical Due Diligence, project cash flow
and lender’s clarifications.

■Establishment of O&M structure from the perspective of Site Base Facility and any other O&M related items until hand-over to NREO (O&M Contractor) and Asset Management team.

■Support General Manager and/or Project Manager to work on new area other than the above when requested.

■Implement all the NDAs with all supplies in relation to EPC Wind.
