1. Lead Turbine Selection and Suitability Assessments;
Drive the evaluation and selection of wind turbines by assessing their suitability for specific projects, taking into account site conditions, design evolution, and technical certifications.
Ensure turbines meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, coordinating certification activities with third parties.
2. Turbine Design Review;
Lead the review of turbine designs, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and best practices.
Provide technical feedback on design improvements, component durability, and innovation, collaborating with OEMs and internal engineering teams.
3. Certification and Regulatory Compliance;
Oversee turbine certification processes, including the coordination of technical documentation, testing, and compliance activities with certification bodies.
Ensure all turbine-related activities adhere to local and international standards, including grid code compliance and environmental regulations.
4. OEM Relationship and Contract Management
Manage discussions with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and lead procurement processes, including Early Works Agreements, Turbine Supply Agreements (TSA), and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts.
Ensure that contracts include appropriate performance guarantees, warranties, and long-term service agreements to optimize project outcomes.
5. Technical Due Diligence and Advisory
Conduct comprehensive technical due diligence for new projects, advising development and engineering teams on wind resource assessment, energy yield estimation, and technology selection.
Identify potential risks related to turbine performance and propose mitigation strategies during the development phase.
6. Evaluation of New Turbine Technologies
Continuously assess and recommend new turbine technologies and innovations, considering lifecycle management, operational performance, and long-term maintainability.
Liaise with third-party providers to ensure cutting-edge solutions are implemented.
7. Logistics and Installation Oversight
Develop logistics solutions for the transportation, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine generators (WTGs), considering both commercial and technical requirements.
Ensure that logistics planning aligns with project timelines and budget constraints.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration Work closely with development, investment, and EPC teams to ensure that turbine selection and design decisions are optimized from both a technical and economic perspective. Provide support in framing SCADA and wind turbine contract terms, ensuring that key elements such as performance guarantees and maintenance requirements are adequately addressed. 9. Performance Monitoring and Improvement Support the operations team in monitoring turbine performance, analysing data, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Coordinate with OEMs to evaluate retrofit options and design changes that may be necessary to improve performance. 10. Training and Mentorship Train and mentor junior wind engineers and technical staff, ensuring the development of expertise within the team. Lead knowledge-sharing initiatives within the department to keep the team updated on the latest technological advancements and industry trends. 11. Third-Party Management Manage third-party advisors and contractors for technical contracting discussions, certification processes, and due diligence activities. Prepare and review technical schedules and specifications for contracts, ensuring alignment with project objectives. |
勤務時間 | 9:00 – 18:00 (including lunch break of 1-hour, flexible hours system with core time between 11:00 to 15:00). |
