This role responsibility is to provide business insight and on the ground support to Retail, seek out areas for improvements and insight to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. The position requires to take an active role in building and maintaining key internal relationships, continually assess, analyse and improve all operational aspects and provide business insight. High level of communication, reflecting company standards, contributing to efficiencies and implementing new processes are expected.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative DTC Finance Business Partner to support our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels, including Brand Owned E-commerce and Retail including both Full-priced Brand Stores & Outlet Stores. In this role, you will serve as a key financial advisor and strategic partner to our Brand team emphasizing DTC channels, helping drive business performance through sound financial planning, analysis, and operational insight.

You will play a critical role in budget planning, forecasting, and cost control, as well as bridging communication between the Brand teams and internal finance and functional teams. Your insights will support decision-making processes and ensure alignment with brand as well as company goals.

1. Support for Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Closing
・Enter journal entries, analyse account balances, and perform reconciliations.
・Manage closing schedules and coordinate with relevant departments.
2. Fixed Assets Management
・Maintain and update the fixed asset registration and record depreciation,
・Support physical inventory counts
3. Lease Accounting
・Identify lease contracts account for tight of use and lease liability
・Ensure compliance with IFRS16
4. Inventory Accounting
・Inventory reconciliation process
・PPV calculation/review process
5. Balance Sheet Reconciliation
・Reconcile balance sheet accounts through Blackline
・Collect and verify supporting evidence in line with internal control requirement
6.Intercompany Transaction Confirmation
・Confirm intercompany balances and coordinate with subsidiaries
7.Audit Support
・Liaise with internal and external auditors.
8.Tax Filing Support
・Preparation of Required Documents for Tax Filing.
9.Team Management Support
・Train, mentor and review the work of staff
10.Support any other ad hoc tasks which may occur in the team

We are looking for a trusted finance business partner to join Worldwide Sports Maker Finance team. The Salomon assistant business partner is reporting Salomon Business Partner in Japan. The position will collaborate closely with Salomon Japan Team and Finance Team in order to drive business growth by monitoring business results and making recommendations on business and financial decisions.

Be responsible for RKT & SG all merchandising and merchandise planning in brands and Categories. You manage and lead a team in developing and implementing long and short-term merchandise plans for our Direct to Consumer and Wholesale Channels. Together with your team, you ensure product availability that maximizes sales potential, while minimizing excess inventories.
