【本ポジションについて】
The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for developing the wholistic, multi-year JP marketing calendar and plans, in alignment with local channels as well as the global Marketing. This role is critical to building a strategic go-to-market plan accompanied by regional creative extension ideas that thoughtfully considers how the consumer will experience HOKA in all touchpoints. They will work with and strategically align all JP teams (Sales, DTC and Operations) to develop the JP integrated marketing plan. You will also be the primary contact with the Global Marketing Teams (Marketing, Communications, Creative) to convey JP specific needs and apply the global GTM strategy to the unique needs of the JP marketplace and consumer.
Under the direction of the Brand Director, the Senior Manager will take ownership of aligning all functional marketing leaders and channel marketing teams to transform strategic initiatives into a comprehensive integrated JP marketing plan.
A deep understanding of the consumer, ecosystem, and all touchpoints within the HOKA marketing mix is critical as this individual will be responsible for elevating the consumer journey and for building a marketing plan that reflects consumer needs, brand objectives, and departmental initiatives.
The Senior Manager should be a brand first thinker and have direct experience with brand, digital and e-commerce marketing. Communication and project management skills are critical as this role will work across multiple departments to understand their unique goals, strategies and plans and reflect that in the integrated seasonal plans. Sharp business acumen and knowledge of marketing, digital, and e-commerce KPIs and best practices is critical for this role. This individual needs to understand the consumer and the role each touchpoint plays in reaching the consumer in a way that builds long term brand health and loyalty and fuels the eco-system.

| 2 | 【業務内容】 25%:Long range marketing plan •Take ownership of aligning all channel marketing teams to develop the 5 year, long range marketing plan incorporating the Consumer, Competitor and Market analysis. •Provide strategics oversight with the Integrated Marketing Manager and Specialist with the local creative development and implementation work across all physical and digital channels. 20%:Support the long term growth of HOKA Commercial teams •Support the Channel Marketing manager, who acts as the day-to-day contact for the JP ecommerce and retail teams for aligning and integrating seasonal plans. Own the development of a 360 support plan for Wholesale channel in partnership with FER team. 20%:Grow the impact of third-party endorsement •Help JP Sports Marketing team with development of their long range vision, build key actions items and work with Global Sports Marketing to enhance the cross-regional collaboration •Encourage PR team to develop and deepen relationships with key influencers, media and opinion leaders. 20%:Cross Functional Teamwork and Leadership •Serve as the key liaison between the Japan team and the Global Marketing teams. •Establish and develop aligned partnerships with cross-functional teams: DTC, Sales, Integrated planning, Finance, Operations, Merchandising. •Partner with Leadership team of Sales and DTC to align on targets to execute the seasonal plans & tie back to marketing strategies. •Influence behavior and opinion of others using pertinent data and applying logic to gain consensus. 15%:Lead, guide and grow HOKA Japan Brand merchandising team: •Lead by example, provides guidance coaching and training to the marketing team, possesses a thorough knowledge of all the roles and responsibilities. •Provide direction through focusing and clearly communicating the priorities of managing multiple seasons. •Effectively manage and supports the career development of direct reports and the entire team, to ensure job satisfaction and future talent development. ※副業禁止 |
| 3 | 【Education/ Experience】 • Bachelor’s degree • 10+ years’ experience in a related role overseeing a diverse team with responsibilities across digital marketing, paid media, social media management etc. • Sports/Outdoor/Fashion apparel or footwear industry experience is highly desirable, though not mandatory • Experience with project management • Experience operating effectively across cross functional teams including people overseas • Experience working with various project management tools and communications tools preferred 【Skills/Competencies】 • Love for running is a must • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese to interact with colleagues and the executive management professionally • Able to find solutions to complex or ambiguous problems • Experience working effectively in cross-functional capacities, satisfying the needs of diverse stakeholders, and often working under the pressure of competing and sometimes conflicting priorities. • Highly intelligent, self-directing and self-confident leader • Innovative manager with people & processes • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to navigate internal organization • Ability to use independent judgment in performing all duties of the position All leaders at Deckers Brands must be able to demonstrate our leadership behaviors – • Come As You Are • Better Together • Commit To Create |
