【本ポジションについて】
The primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager, Field Experience Representative (FER) is to provide sales solicitation support and high-touch brand experience of HOKA brand with consumers mainly through wholesale channels. They are responsible for soliciting sales to end-consumers on the retail floor in wholesale channels, training wholesale store staff, and providing exciting, engaging brand experiences for all customers, internal and external.
The FER team is an integral part of growing brand awareness and stimulating end-consumers to try on our products either in-store or at events held in partnership with our key wholesale partners. They are responsible for always presenting themselves and the brands with the highest possible regard.
This Assistant Manager role exists to lead and grow the team of fellow representatives, proactively engaging with the individuals’ professional skill growth and ensuring all team members are truly the embodiment of HOKA brand in Japan.

| 2 | 【業務内容】 25% Lead the team Provide guidance, set examples, plan and offer onboarding training for new FERs. Review performance of team members and take necessary actions to maintain high standards 25% Schedule management In cooperation with the local Sales team plan and other FER team members, create an effective program schedule of promotional events and store visits. 20% Consumer Expert Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products and developments, and competitor communications. Actively engage in the sport of running, trail running, hiking etc, as well as being an active member of local communities, in order to fully champion the consumer (Pinnacle performer and Elevated Achiever) 20% In-store field activities in wholesale channels Work with wholesale store staff to showcase the brands in a positive manner. Plan and conduct product try-on events in various wholesale channels, to raise consumer awareness and understanding of HOKA brand and products. 10% Be the communication hub between wholesale retail staff Interact with wholesale store staff to build excitement, educate them on the brand, products, and sales tips, and own responsibilities in answering inquiries. Work with stores to proactively present the brand. Communicate concerns about the sales floor to Sales team and Marketing team. Lead pre & in-season product download sessions. ※副業禁止 |
| 3 | 【Education/Certifications】 - Bachelor’s degree preferred 【Work Experience】 - 5+ years of experience in trade marketing, or in a store sales role in Sporting Goods/Run Specialty, or other similar in-store promotion role in running industry. - Experience of being a people manager with 2+ direct reports is needed - Experience and strong interest in running (road, trail, triathlon) and hiking are a must. - Footwear/retail experience preferred. 【Skills/Competencies】 - Passion in the brand and long distance running - Excellent planning, organizing skills - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - Strong record of follow through - Excellent negotiating and problem solving skills - Ability to exercise good judgment, show initiative, and be proactive - Positive, friendly and personal approach - Familiarity with all products offered by Hoka - Proficient in Microsoft Applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint - Effectively prepare and present information and communicate to client groups All leaders at Deckers Brands must be able to demonstrate our leadership behaviors – • Come As You Are • Better Together • Commit To Create |
