Working under the leadership of Retail Operation manager, the operation coordinator is responsible for supporting operational excellence. The role would be a key person to organize store open/refit/closure cross functional communication.
The role will require knowledge of store daily operations such as store open & close, daily maintenance, audit, business reports, and casher operations.
The role will also require collaboration with cross function departments in Japan.

| 2 | 【業務内容（職責）】 ※ (%)は全体の業務に対する割合を指します ■50%：Operational excellence • Responsible to support creation and maintain of store operational standards/manuals to ensure customer and employee experience is meeting brand expectations. • Disseminating HQ communication to stores with manager guidance and supports • Assist store safety management such as audit, inventory counts, facility maintenance and cleaning standard. • Support store engagement activities such as SMC, trainings and recognition activities with collaborated with training team • Creating business reports such as sales KPI or tax free with managers’ supports. • Data entry for account receivable or payable into accounting system. ■40%：New Store Opening, Refits and Closures. • Organize task timelines and support progress tracking and reporting of store opening/refit/closures. • Coordinate with internal cross functional teams (real estate, marketing, logistics, MD, VMD, PX, IT and Store) to maintain progress as plan. • Support communication and documentation to LL with district/area managers. • Arrange opening set up week schedule with internal cross functional teams. ■10%：New Project Implementation Support store operation projects such as new platform or system launch by assisting UAT and data analysis. ※副業不可 |
| 3 | 【Education/Certifications】 • Vocational school graduate or higher • Proficient verbal and written Japanese, English would be plus. 【Work Experience】 • 5+ years of Retail experience, 1-3 store management role or admin/assistant of retail operation. • Thorough understanding in retail store operations. • The ability to handle multiple tasks, to think creatively for enhance efficiency and productivity. • Projects leading or cross functional communication experience • Store opening project experience would be plus • Ability to read and provide business reports 【Skills/Competencies】 • Strong organization and multitasking, • Communication skills for cross-functional collaboration • Quick learner, positive mindset • Basic PC skill of Excel, PowerPoint • Open to domestic travel if needed All leaders at Deckers Brands must be able to demonstrate our leadership behaviors – • Come As You Are • Better Together • Commit To Create |
