This role is responsible for creating digital content as well as strategic direction on digital activation initiatives and communication strategy.
UX/UI Design & Contents Specialist (Hereinafter UX/UI &Contents Specialist) is instrumental in ensuring trading KPI’s are continuously improved and regional content plans are executed to a high level by working with multiple stakeholders such as the merchandise team, brand marketing team, sales team, digital marketing team, eCommerce team and related 3rd vendors. UX/UI & Contents Specialist supports Business/Market in enhancing user experience and content on Hoka websites. They ensure consistency and high-quality information, utilize analytics, track customer activities, and set up A/B tests. This role demands knowledge of Google Analytics, CMS functionality, Coding, A/B Testing Tools, UX/UI research, and strong analytical and communication skills.

2 業務内容(職責)

※ (%)は全体の業務に対する割合を指します


■ CONTENT CREATION & MANAGEMENT(50%):

・ Fully understand HOKA brand guidelines and principles and ensure all activities adhere to these standards.
・Design and implementation of HOKA.com/JP site.
・Oversee content and customer journey reporting and improve on related KPIs (from visitor to check out) to ensure site being trading effectively.
・Work closely with trading, marketing, and merchandising related partners to ensure alignment across all channels.
・Manage 3rd party tools to optimize the HOKA website and deliver relevant content experience for the own site.
・Weekly and monthly content performance reporting for HOKA website


■ ESTABLISH COMMUNICATION & USER EXPERIENCE STRATEGY(40%):

・Creating the online content strategy to ensure the brand story and messages are delivered through the right touchpoint to the right customer segments at the right time with confirmation of ecommerce manager.
・Accountable for updating the trading calendar with eCommerce content plan
・Develop the test plans for on-site content, such as A/B testing for optimization.
・Manage the content of emails for each segment and make sure to align with the content, marketing and merchandise objectives.
・Manage the relationship with the marketing team to ensure all deliverables are completed on time.
・Research other similar brands and ensure the site exceeds what customers would expect when researching products to buy now, later in the season.
・Learning the latest SEO strategy and improving SEO enhancement for contents

■ LEARNING NEW TECHNOLOGIES & METHOTDS(10%):

・Responsible for managing a process that develops innovative thinking and the generation of new ideas related to functionality and usability.
・Maintain advanced knowledge of online content management systems, image libraries, brand objectives, development needs and other creative functions to ensure best-in-class usability and digital medium presentations.
・Stay current with the latest ecommerce trends and technology to maintain competitiveness in the digital world and should provide innovative suggestions and solutions to leadership.

3 【Work Experience】

・5+ years of work experience in website design and UX/UI prototyping.
・5+ years of work experience in coding with HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
・Strong grasp of design systems, branding, marketing, data, UX, business analysis, and technology.
・Preferred experience in digital content planning and management within eCommerce or web media at a brand.
・Experience of operating CMS (content management system) tools.
・Experience in designing and executing user and usability A/B tests
・Skilled in editing content in Japanese with the appropriate tone and style.
・Project management experience and the ability to manage cross-functional teams is a valuable asset.
・Additional experience in the Footwear/Outdoor/Sports industry is a plus.

【Skills/Competencies】

・Portfolio of product and platform design work required.
・Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), ・Figma, and prototyping software.
・Strong design skills with attention to detail.
・Proficient in articulating design intentions, creating engaging content that communicates product functionality while considering pricing. Also, skilled in aligning design with challenges and objectives.
・Passionate and proficient in user interface and experience design and seamlessly integrating technology and design.
・Ability to create appealing and user-friendly websites for consumers.
・Knowledge of web analytics, reporting and estimation using various tools.
・Self-starter with strong time management skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
・Enjoys tackling new challenges.
・Collaborative team player.
・Results-driven and proactive.
・Understands and is able to convey the key differences and nuances between brand sites and product offerings.
・Versatility to work across different areas.
・Creative thinking and strong Japanese content writing/editing skills.
・Adequate English communication skills (both verbal and written) are sufficient for engaging with stakeholders at the US headquarters through meetings, chats, and emails.
