Associate, Technical & Performance / Asset Management
【Summary】
The purpose of this role is to support operational reporting, develop data-driven strategies, serve as a liaison between O&M teams and vendors, and conduct energy modeling by developing robust data collection systems and forecasting models. This role aims to increase EBITDA by promptly and accurately identifying equipment downtime and its impact, as well as ensuring seamless communication across all SCADA systems.
【Key Responsibilities】
■Operation report and report visualization
An accurate and informative dashboards and reports to provide findings and insights of operational plants’ generation, performance, interruptions, and improvements to stakeholders.
■Data-driven operational strategy planning
Creation and implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize energy production and improvements of EBITDA by identifying low performing plants, implementing plausible causes, and work with team to solve the issues.
■Person-in-charge of communication with O&M and vendors
Smooth communication between TAM, O&M and vendors, in which any action items observed by plants’ generation and performance analysis can be executed. Data Availability near to 100% with any issues detected early and actions are taken promptly.
■Data collection and management
Robust and timely dataset preparation from SCADA, utility bills, and operational reports by automating the data collection and management.
■Energy forecasting model development
Energy forecasting model with high accuracy, so interruptions and availability are being better estimated.

Associate, Asset Management (Onshore Wind)
【Summary】
The Associate, Asset Management (Onshore Wind) will be responsible for the operation, performance, and optimization of onshore wind and other renewable energy projects in Japan. This role is a key member of the team, working closely with the reporting manager to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of assets. The Associate, Asset Management (Onshore Wind) will also be involved in operational reporting, assisting with budget management, and ensuring that projects meet key performance indicators (KPIs). This position requires strong stakeholder management skills, expertise
in monitoring asset performance, and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement. Fluency in Japanese (speaking, reading, writing) is essential, with adequate proficiency in English for written communication.
【Key Responsibilities】
■Contract management
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with
contractual terms.
- Identify defects, negotiate resolutions, handle claims, and follow up on
operational issues.
- Oversee contract renewals and ensure timely execution.
■Troubleshooting
- Monitor and report on the performance of onshore wind assets.
- Analyze operational data, identify issues, and implement improvements to enhance performance.
■Person-in-charge of communication with O&M and vendors
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Track operational issues, implement corrective measures.
■Commercial administration
- Handle processes of requests for quotations, purchase orders, and ensure timely receipt of deliverables.
- Coordinate with Finance and Investment teams for lender approvals.
- Maintain up-to-date cash flow data for effective financial management.
■Reporting/Documentation
- Prepare and deliver reports to both external stakeholders and internal management.
- Ensure accurate documentation for METI, utilities, and local authorities.
■Compliance
- Track the status and ensure timely renewals of permits, certifications, and other statutory requirements.
- Communicate with stakeholders, authorities, and governments to maintain compliance.
- Ensure all applications, reports, and payments are completed on schedule.
