Manager, Brand Merchandising, HOKA
【本ポジションについて】
The Manager, Brand Merchandising, will work closely with Director, HOKA on the JP strategy for HOKA that encompasses all elements of the product value proposition (Right Product at the Right Place at the Right Time for the Right Consumer). Leveraging Omni-channel and wholesale insights, trend, brand, and category strategies, this person will define the seasonal JP consumer-right assortments and flow in support of HOKA’s financial goals and strategic brand positioning within our wholesale Channels. They will build relationships with key cross-functional business partners including Sales, Operations/Planning, Ecom, Retail and Marketing to help support a consistent and compelling brand presentation in Japan market. In addition to local counterparts, Global Product and Merchandising teams will be key partners for this role, with whom the Manager will provide in-detail product feedback and facilitate any local collaboration projects or local product creation. Last, the Manager will own partnership with local Finance team oversee HOKA Japan’s pricing and gross margin management.

Tax Manager
◆ 主な役割:
Support Senior Tax Manager, APAC, with US tax provision, tax compliance and planning projects covering APAC mainly in Japan, may also include China, Hongkong SAR, Vietnam and etc). The position is responsible for tax return preparation, local transfer pricing documentation, tax payable forecasting, assortment mix analysis and statistical reports submitted to governments to ensure tax compliance driven by local tax requirements in Asia-Pacific Region. Work closely within Tax team, accounting team and other business partners internally and externally to achieve key tax compliance risk controls, process optimization and planning objectives. Experience and knowledge with direct and indirect taxes, tax audits and customs audits; personal income tax experience is a plus.

The primary responsibility of the Assistant Manager, Field Experience Representative (FER) is to provide sales solicitation support and high-touch brand experience of HOKA brand with consumers mainly through wholesale channels. The Senior Manager of Merchandising, HOKA will lead and direct the execution of HOKA seasonal directives and key initiatives for the Japan marketplace inclusive of both the Wholesale and DTC channels (Right Product, Right Place, Right Time). The Senior Manager, Marketing is responsible for developing the wholistic, multi-year JP marketing calendar and plans, in alignment with local channels as well as the global Marketing. This role is critical to building a strategic go-to-market plan accompanied by regional creative extension ideas that thoughtfully considers how the consumer will experience HOKA in all touchpoints. They will work with and strategically align all JP teams (Sales, DTC and Operations) to develop the JP integrated marketing plan. You will also be the primary contact with the Global Marketing Teams (Marketing, Communications, Creative) to convey JP specific needs and apply the global GTM strategy to the unique needs of the JP marketplace and consumer.
Under the direction of the Brand Director, the Senior Manager will take ownership of aligning all functional marketing leaders and channel marketing teams to transform strategic initiatives into a comprehensive integrated JP marketing plan.
A deep understanding of the consumer, ecosystem, and all touchpoints within the HOKA marketing mix is critical as this individual will be responsible for elevating the consumer journey and for building a marketing plan that reflects consumer needs, brand objectives, and departmental initiatives.
The Senior Manager should be a brand first thinker and have direct experience with brand, digital and e-commerce marketing. Communication and project management skills are critical as this role will work across multiple departments to understand their unique goals, strategies and plans and reflect that in the integrated seasonal plans. Sharp business acumen and knowledge of marketing, digital, and e-commerce KPIs and best practices is critical for this role. This individual needs to understand the consumer and the role each touchpoint plays in reaching the consumer in a way that builds long term brand health and loyalty and fuels the eco-system.
