The Accounting Assistant Manager reports to APAC Accounting Senior Manager in Shanghai as part of the Asia Pacific Region (APAC) Global Accounting Services (GAS) Shared Service Center (SSC). The Accounting Assistant Manager is responsible for handling in the following areas:
• Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Closing cooperating with Shanghai GAS team members in USGAAP
• Secondary ledger closing with accountant in Japan team
• Leads GAS related global project implementation and support local business process improvement in finance relative area
• Supervises Fixed Asset accounting in JGAAP basis in PCA
• Work with APAC Senior manager in SH, Finance & Business team in Japan for miscellaneous issues in local
Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with GAS Shanghai team, and superiors, and local business partners. Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times. Proactively work for the process improvement and new projects cooperating with global colleagues.

Support Senior Tax Manager, APAC, with US tax provision, tax compliance and planning projects covering APAC mainly in Japan, may also include China, Hongkong SAR, Vietnam and etc). The position is responsible for tax return preparation, local transfer pricing documentation, tax payable forecasting, assortment mix analysis and statistical reports submitted to governments to ensure tax compliance driven by local tax requirements in Asia-Pacific Region. Work closely within Tax team, accounting team and other business partners internally and externally to achieve key tax compliance risk controls, process optimization and planning objectives. Experience and knowledge with direct and indirect taxes, tax audits and customs audits; personal income tax experience is a plus.

The role mainly works with team members and related departments in Japan to contribute to achieving sales target and site KPIs.

The Digital Technology Coordinator is responsible for the day to day running of the ECommerce order processing works, ensuring that payments and order dispatch are running smoothly, highlighting and resolving any issues that arise.
