DTC Merchandising specialist, HOKA
◆ 主な役割:
The DTC Merchandising specialist will lead and direct the execution of HOKA seasonal directives and key initiatives for selected DTC channels for all product departments (Footwear, Apparel and Accessories). This role will work closely with the Manager of HOKA Japan Merchandising on all elements of the value proposition (Right Product at the Right Place at the Right Time) for selected DTC channels, depending on the candidate’s experience. Leveraging DTC insights, trend, data, brand and category strategies, this person will lead the seasonal Japan DTC assortments in support of HOKA’s financial goals. They will build relationships with key cross-functional business partners including Marketing, Ecom, VMD, Integrated Planning, Supply Planning, Logistics as well as Retail partners to help ensure we deliver the best expression and brand presentation within selected channels (HOKA.com, HOKA’s Full price and Outlet stores).
At its core, this role will lead all elements of Japan assortment planning and buy execution for the DTC businesses. Partnering with Japan leadership to drive a disciplined, consistent, efficient, and sustainable approach for the DTC business. Additionally, they will partner with Marketing, Ecom and VMD team to create consistent head-to-toe expressions and flow for the brand, bringing footwear and apparel together in key stories and looks that will drive consumer interest and engagement as well as propel the brand forward.
They will partner with the Manager of HOKA Japan Merchandising to instill discipline and support them during key seasonal planning meetings.

Manager, Brand Merchandising, HOKA
【本ポジションについて】
The Manager, Brand Merchandising, will work closely with Director, HOKA on the JP strategy for HOKA that encompasses all elements of the product value proposition (Right Product at the Right Place at the Right Time for the Right Consumer). Leveraging Omni-channel and wholesale insights, trend, brand, and category strategies, this person will define the seasonal JP consumer-right assortments and flow in support of HOKA’s financial goals and strategic brand positioning within our wholesale Channels. They will build relationships with key cross-functional business partners including Sales, Operations/Planning, Ecom, Retail and Marketing to help support a consistent and compelling brand presentation in Japan market. In addition to local counterparts, Global Product and Merchandising teams will be key partners for this role, with whom the Manager will provide in-detail product feedback and facilitate any local collaboration projects or local product creation. Last, the Manager will own partnership with local Finance team oversee HOKA Japan’s pricing and gross margin management.

The Role:
The Specialist, Brand Merchandising will work closely with the Manager, Merchandising HOKA on the Japan strategy which encompasses all elements of the value proposition (Right Product at the Right Place at the Right Time for the Right Consumer) in Japan. They will also work on any Japan SMU product creation initiatives in partnership with Global product team as a project lead overseeing the budget, timeline and output quality. In addition to footwear merchandising leadership, this role will also oversee apparel merchandising in Japan, creating a consistent head to toe expression and flow for the brand.

Tax Manager
◆ 主な役割:
Support Senior Tax Manager, APAC, with US tax provision, tax compliance and planning projects covering APAC mainly in Japan, may also include China, Hongkong SAR, Vietnam and etc). The position is responsible for tax return preparation, local transfer pricing documentation, tax payable forecasting, assortment mix analysis and statistical reports submitted to governments to ensure tax compliance driven by local tax requirements in Asia-Pacific Region. Work closely within Tax team, accounting team and other business partners internally and externally to achieve key tax compliance risk controls, process optimization and planning objectives. Experience and knowledge with direct and indirect taxes, tax audits and customs audits; personal income tax experience is a plus.

The JP Integrated Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the Japan integrated seasonal marketing plans. This role is critical to building a strategic go-to-market plan and seamless execution that thoughtfully considers how the consumer will experience HOKA in all touchpoints. This individual will advocate for Japan specific needs to Global Brand Marketing team and apply the global GTM strategy to the unique needs of the JP marketplace and consumer.
