About SGU (Super Global University Program)
Super Global University Program began as an initiative of Prime Minister Shinzō Abe who stated its aim was to help more of Japan’s universities rank in the top 100 worldwide. This requires the hiring of more foreign professors and increasing foreign student attendance at Japanese universities.
The program is slated to run from 2014 to 2023. It’s total budget is ¥7.7 billion ($US 77 million). The funds will be used to hire faculty who are either foreigners or Japanese nationals who have graduated from foreign universities. Designated universities will also establish curricula for undergraduate degree programs, provide financial support for international students, and actively recruit students worldwide.
This position is to help applicants overseas to apply for English-based degree program under the “SGU” Project. The person that we are looking for needs to fulfill the following requirements.
・Complete English writing tasks under requirements of clients on time
・Assist to solve complaints from client to ensure satisfactory services
・Help to resolve application-related issues through analysis and experience
・Actively participate in collective activities of company

| 必須スキル・経験 | ◎ Major Limitations(graduated from one of below)： 1. Humanities [Cultural Studies, Geography, Liberal Arts, Language, Literature, Psychology] 2. Social Science [Law, Political Science, Economics, Commercial Science (Trading Accounting, Distribution, Business incl.), Management, MBA, Sociology, Social Science] 3. Education 4. Comprehensive Science [Comprehensive Science, International Culture, International Relations] ◎ Master degree or above. ◎ Good English language skills both in written and verbal.◎ Have much experience and necessary knowledge of academic English writing for research proposal, personal statement, career plan, reference letter etc. on both graduate and undergraduate levels. ◎ Good Chinese communication skills. ◎ Professional user in office softwares. ◎ Able to work under pressure. ◎ Deliver tasks on time. |
